I always look forward to KMA's Family Day. It's a great time to celebrate spring, art and family while inviting the entire community with free admission!
Families are invited to celebrate spring with delightful activities inspired by Nowruz, the Persian New Year Festival that marks the beginning of spring. Experience Persian classical dance and music performances as well as demonstrations by a traditional Iranian calligrapher and miniature painter. Mosaic crafting, a Haft-Seen display, and Persian treats will also be available for visitors to enjoy. Organized in collaboration with The Ferdowsi School of Westchester.
Katonah Museum of Art is a wonderful local landmark where the entire family can enjoy art. Thanks to the museum's special children's room, your child can be creative with their imagination using various materials that are already provided to use throughout the day.
