“Owl-centric” Story Hike

By Karen S. Savir, Macaroni Kid Westchester North & Westchester Land Trust January 11, 2019

Is your child curious about owls, their sounds and how they live? Hosted by Westchester Land Trust, bundle up and join us for an evening story hike through Leon Levy Preserve in search of some feathery friends.  Find our Whooo’s in your backyard during this fun nighttime program for all ages to explore and learn.  During the walk we will listen to the picture book classic story, “Owl Babies,”  by Martin Waddell, search for owl clues, find out what owls eat, and learn the sounds our local owls make.

Be sure to bring a flashlight and bundle up! We’ll have hot chocolate to warm you up after our program.

Registration is required via online at www.Lewisborolibrary.org or via phone: 914-875-9004

Will you spot your Publisher and her kiddos at the hike?  Whooo will be the lucky winner?

This special program is sponsored by Lewisboro Library and Westchester Land Trust
