Delve into the world of nature at Trailside Nature Camp, Monday, July 8, through Friday, Aug. 23. One-week sessions are offered for youngsters entering grades 1 through 6, two-week sessions are available for boys and girls entering grades 7 through 9, and a one-week session is available for grades 10 through 12.
Weekly Themes: Mad Science (July 15 - 19); Pixies, Polliwogs and Potions (Storytelling) (July 22 - 26); Dinosaurs, Digs and Discovery (July 29 - Aug. 2); Mudboot Naturalist (Aug. 5 - 9); Ward’s Wonderful Water (Aug. 12 - 16); and Ancestral Skills (Aug. 19 - 23).
Groups:
• Grades 1 - 3: Park Rangers
• Grades 4 - 6: Naturalists
• Grades 7 - 9: Conservationists
• Grades 10 - 12: Stewards
Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; tuition is $350 for Park Rangers and Naturalists, $750 for Conservationists and $400 for Stewards.
Multi-camper and multi-session discounts are available:
• 5% One camper for two sessions or two campers for one session per family
• 10% Three to four sessions per family
• 15% Five-plus sessions per family
